Dziadziu ("Grandpa" in Polish) was the town baker. My Mom and Babcia ("Grandma") manned the store front every day of the week except for Sundays. So, there is where my love for baking, cooking, decorating, and creating everything and anything under the sun gradually came to me over time. Then, add a few life changing experiences, tragedies and then the baking obsession begins. From the bad, came so much yumminess.

 Attended the School of the Art Insitute of Chicago graduating with a BFA and Ceritifcation in Art Education, traveled the world, lived in other parts of the country, and came home back to Chicago to root myself once again.
